Why DevOps?

Top five reasons that come to my mind, why one should adopt for DevOps

1. Faster response to resolve an issue in production affecting customers' businesses as a one team (for development and operations silos perspective)
2. Cost effective way to build softwares with better quality by eliminating waste in the system consistently 
3. Better quality and frequency of communications cross-functionally 
4. Building competencies effectively across the teams to bridge silos-working. It is a continual process
5. Value to customer, faster and with quality outcomes
